Our Teaching Insights publication is an excellent opportunity for first time student and staff authors. We would love you to contribute a ‘Recipe for success’ to our next edition which will be published in July 2024 and will be a Special Edition on ‘Pedagogies of Possibility: Tales of Transformation and HE Hope’ related to our International Teaching and Learning Conference, June 2023.
Submissions are welcomed from students, alumni and those who teach in Higher Education. We welcome individual and joint authored submissions (student-staff collaborations are especially welcome) from both within Oxford Brookes University and from other institutions.
Your contribution would be a 400-600 word ‘recipe for success’ which can also be thought of as a case study.
Further information on the process, including the submission form and deadline, will appear here nearer the time of planned publication.
Reviewing Process
Your contribution will be reviewed using the following criteria.
- Clear focus directly relevant to the topic of publication
- Clear structure
- Accessible language for a non-specialist audience
- Evidence of impact and how approaches could be applied elsewhere
- References to relevant literature
- Good key take-aways
- Within word count
You will be notified whether your piece has been approved for publication or not (and why). Articles for publication may be subject to some copy editing. You will be sent a final version of your submission to approve prior to publication.
